I'm Glad I'm a Boy!

Here is a real catch. Denison owns a copy, which is safely stored in Special Collections (on the 7th tier) or it would have gone missing some time ago. It's a triumph of gender identification. Go look at it!

  1. This was published in 1970? I have a feeling this would be the cause of many lawsuits today.

My favorite pages are "Boys fix things. Girls need things fixed" and "Boys invent things. Girls use what boys invent." These don't give much credit to girls. I'm most surprised at the inclusion of "Girls are heroines." It's the only feminine role that stands out from the others.

If were the only options, I would not be glad to be a girl!
